Where Education Is A Significant Priority
Grains Of Sand
Students are like grains of sand
Along a windswept beach,
Waiting for a helping hand,
And a heart that loves to teach.

Sand can be molded easily
By hand or with a tool.
Nature, the perfect classroom
Was where God taught His school.

No need for air-condition,
He used simple visual aid
That provided timeless lessons --
Memories that never fade..

Students are like grains of sand
Bruised by the tide of pain and strife.
The positive imprint of a teacher
Can influence that tender life.

  The coconut palm bends low
In homage to its unseen foe.
  Dominating sky and bay
  It has a graceful sway.

  Its fruit
  Has a delicious white meat.
  The water
  Contained therein is a treat.
